Medicine has always been in my life. My father is a physician, in fact, many of my family members were physicians. My grandfather, father, great uncle, step mother, brother and two sisters were, or are, physicians. I grew up on my Dad’s cattle ranch, which is where my interest in Veterinary Medicine began. In college I studied pre-med but was accepted to Auburn School of Veterinary Medicine under the early-acceptance program. At Auburn I earned membership into Phi Zeta, the National Veterinary Honor Society, and graduated 2nd in my class. Special interests of mine include orthopedics, dermatology, canine reproduction, and general surgery. In addition to being a small animal general practitioner, I am an avid gardener with interest in perennials and roses of all kinds and especiall the fragrant antique roses.
From time to time, a specialist may be needed for a consult. You will be glad to know I have full referral privileges for Tufts University Vet School (Grafton), Angell Medical Center (Boston) and Vescone (Waltham).
